Hey uncle Scotty! How are you?
What could this be? Our 97 Toyota Corona MT with 165,+++kms already. When accelerating hard, it shakes and feels wiggly from left to right. We just replaced our front right outer CV Joint, but not the front right inner, and left inner and outer CV Joint.
Another thing, when accelerating from 1,500rpm to 1,900 it clunks, but it stops when it reaches 2,000rpm. Happens when it's on 2nd gear.

The unstable driving may result from lots of issues. Check all the suspension parts and the tires.
The clunks may come from the transmission, baby that car.
