Hi Scotty I have a 2016 tlx at 60k miles but this should apply to every car.
I heard there's a way to get rid of Auto start stop for good by disconnecting the wire from battery to car computer.

So that you don't have to push the button to shut it down every time.
Is it a good idea? I know we agree that auto start stop should be disabled for good.
Thanks!

Turning off that feature is a good thing. About that method, I don’t see any issue with it but keep in mind that it may void any warranty you may have on the car, so make sure to put it back when you want to go for warranty (if you have any).
