I was told by the dealership that I have a leak coming from the gearbox in my jeep. They said it may be broken and I was wondering how would I know it’s broken or just leaking? There is no grinding, nor is there a light coming on in the dash. I use fixed the coolant and oil leak, along with other components in the engine. I will need to get it fixed but trying to see if I can see what the issue is without having to do a full diagnosis. Thank you for your help!

Perhaps the gasket has degraded.
