2016 Honda Civic lx opinions

Hey guys, I have an interest in a 2016 Honda Civic LX, what you guys think about this car, is it reliable?

Which transmission?

You did not mention the mileage. Regardless, they are reliable cars but typical Honda cars, the AC has some issues. Make sure your mechanic check the whole car before putting down any serious money.

See below:  The LX has the 2.0L naturally aspirated engine with port injection, which is as good as you can do for longevity in modern Honda’s (don’t have to worry about oil dilution found in the smaller displacement turbo GDI engines).  You didn’t state if CVT or manual transmission, but if CVT I would change transmission fluid (and filter if applicable) every 30,000 miles to get the most life out of it.  Also, some had AC issues - something to plan for (just in case).

I think you should go for it. It is simple, reliable, fun, easy to maintain, and have great resale value. I also suggest you look up the common problems made by consumers because that is where you can get the most information about a car's reliability.

Can't really go wrong with a naturally aspirated Civic. If it has a manual transmission then even better.

This is the car I got. Honestly love it! I changed the transmission fluid, coolent, and other little stuff
