Hey Scotty! Have a 98 lexus es 300 109k miles (runs perfectly fine and shifts perfect ) got it recently it had a knock sensor code and p0773 shift solenoid E code and I took it to a local shop so they replaced my knock sensor saying it would fix the shift solenoid E code but it came right back up p0773. Every video on youtube will say a different problem.. I really need to get it fixed so I can legally drive it ... Thank you so much for taking the time to read this

Knock sensor and shit solenoids are not related.
knock sensor measure ping/knocking in the engine. Shift solenoids regulate transmission fluid flow.

Check your transmission level and top off of low  then clear light. If full change the transmission fluid then clear light. If cel returns then most likely solenoid will need replacing.

What the P0773 code means

The transmission control module (TCM) turns shift solenoid valve E on or off depending upon the operating conditions of the vehicle. If there is a malfunction somewhere in the wiring or solenoid itself, it will cause abnormality in the gear ratio, causing P0773 to set.

What causes the P0773 code?

A number of issues can cause this DTC, including:

  • A faulty shift solenoid E valve
  • Low transmission fluid
  • Dirt or debris in the transmission fluid
  • An open or short in the shift solenoid E valve harness
  • A poor electrical connection in the shift solenoid E valve circuit
  • Rarely, a bad PCM or TCM

Based on this information like above I'd check your transmission fluid first. Though not really relavent, it is important to note that those older ES do tend to have transmission problems.
