Honda Civic electrical issues

Hi everyone, I have 2006 Honda Civic EX, 4DR, manual here in Canada. The body is barely ok, bad paint and a little rust on the rear quarter panel. A lot of the bolts in the engine bay has a coating of rust. The car stalled and then died on me last week, tried to find what happened and a friend suggested look for a bad ground and the fuel pump is not priming on ignition on. One wire on the right side of the engine is covered with copper corrosion and the one from the engine to the chassis is not in great shape either. I could not get the OBD port to communicate to my Bluedriver or Autel AutoLink AL539B. I have checked all the ground connections continuity and they are ok, and removed the PGM-fi relay under the dash below the steering wheel, gave it a little flick and put back in. The car started but Code P0685- ECM/PCM Power relay control circuit open and P0111-Intake Air temp Sensor 1 circuit range/perf and it stalled again. I bought a new PGM-fi relay from NAPA thinking the relay is not good, but it is still not starting. I have looked in every possible way but still can't figure it out. Any suggestions?

Sounds like it's turning into an electrical nightmare from hell. Yeah that's the problem with Northern cars I know I went to school in Toronto dinosaur ages ago. You basically have to go through every single ground and wiring connector looking for green corrosion or rusted out parts and clean them all whistle clean put them back together with a little anti-corrosion di electric grease and pray

Thank you for the advice Scotty. I have checked every visible and main ground connections but I don't think its worth my time for now. I am looking into buying either a 2003 Honda Accord CP, 2.4L, Auto with 177,000KMS and has a clean carfax( https://www.wellandtoyota.ca/used/vehicle/2003-honda-accord-lx-g-id10778508.htm) or at the same dealership, a 2003 Toyota Camry 2.4L Auto with 263,000KMS( https://www.wellandtoyota.ca/used/vehicle/2003-toyota-camry-le-id10864099.htm). Both seems to have been taken care of relatively well. I have watched your videos about both cars and I'm still undecided whether the Honda will be the better car, while knowing the Toyota might outlast me without a hiccup. I will look for oil burning for both and transmission issues in the Honda. Is there any other advice that might be essential?

You should post the same question because Scotty never respond to comments.
