Massive Oil Leak

Hey Scotty! I recently did a 3 hour road trip and back with my 2002 Camry 2.4L, and I noticed that an oil leak on the side of the pulleys of my engine has gotten a lot worse, so bad that it actually got splattered on the alternator because it had gotten to the serpentine belt. I have changed a few pulleys though: the Harmonic balancer & tensioner pulley. Where could this oil leak be coming from? Do you any common gaskets or seals that usually wear out on my specific 2002 Camry with the 2.4? Thank you!

When you changed your harmonic balancer, did you put in a new front main seal? A badly clogged PCV valve can allow crankcase pressure to build up and blow the front main seal.

The PCV valves are $6.00 at AutoZone.

The PCV valve was changed about 6 months ago, and the harmonic balancer was changed more recently, like around 2 months ago

When I installed the harmonic balancer, I installed a new seal because it made sense to change it since it was already taken apart

Without doing a leak test, this comment is just throwing darts in the air.

First check around the valve cover and the valve cover gasket. Also check the bolts and the gaskets around them, and also the gaskets around the coils. That would be my best guess. It could be something else though.

I am not sure about the layout of a Camry engine. On my Accord, the Power Steering pump is right on top of the alternator. Check the pump, the hoses, and the clamps for any power steering leak. This suggestion is another dart in the air, but simple to check.

I can't see the leak because the attached images are too small.

Probably a valve cover leak though.
