Mazda Tribute vs Camry Wagon

Hi, I'm looking for a car that's strong enough to carry 200kg of cargo uphills 6 days a week. I have a couple of used cars within my budget range.

2006 Mazda Tribute, 3L 6cyl 4wd. 197,000Km driven. Just worried about its Ford transmission and gas mileage.

2002 Camry Wagon, only 107,000Km on the clock. Worried that it may be under-powered for my use case.

I also have a 2007 Subaru Forester in radar but I am putting that on hold for its known head-gasket issues.

I'd go for the Camry wagon. It's the most reliable of the bunch.

Hi, do you think it can handle going 5km uphill with 200-250kg so often? Will the engine/transmission get stressed?

200-250kg is nothing, you'll be fine

250kg is what, 2-3 healthy adults? Any car should be capable of that..

No on the Subaru, because of the head gaskets (unless you are willing to deal with it.)

Maybe on the Tribute. IIRC, that generation Escape/Tribute is a relatively resilient one.  I still see a ton of them k  the road.

And most likely yes in the Camry wagon.
