Kudos to your move to a new home closer to family. Also, it's great to have this new site that you have setup. I really hope that this site would be where people like me, a basement mechanic or whatever you call it, find solutions to have their car fixed.

I have a VW Golf 2.0 FSI which it's ECU needs to be replaced. Basically, I would need someone who is able to send me the "flash" for the ECU. The ECU is Bosch MED9.5.10 06F906056BM. I have downloaded the ECU files from VW but the format is in "SGO", which would require a VW tool to read. I would need a "BIN" file, which I have tried to convert from the SGO but without success (vehicle does not start, radiator fan comes on at full speed, VCDS could not connect to engine module).

If any of Scotty's fan reading this and just happens to be in the ECU tuning or fixing business, could you help me out.

PS: Scotty, I would never buy this junk VW, everything is just breaking down in 16 years. I got it almost free from a family member who didn't listen not to buy a  VW and buy Toyota instead. I drive a Corolla of 18 years and it drives  as good as a car half that age.
