My new 2021 Corolla did not have that 'new car smell'. Did manufacturers recently find a way to remove it in the process?
My new car smell went away after a week. I guess because I sweat after the gym too much. Lmao. Make sure you don’t have COVID too {black}:laugh:

What we call "new car smell" is mostly composed of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) - glue, fabric finishes, ingredients in the plastics. Many of them have found to be harmful, some were carcinogenic. If carmakers are reducing the use of them, that's a good thing in my book, especially for the folks who build the cars and are breathing those VOCs all day, every day.

If you want a semi new car smell, get a little spray can of Ozium and keep it in the glove box.
Gone are the days of Lead, Toulene and Corinthian Leather.
