Opel Insignia 2.0 Turbo, AWD, OPC line, year: 2011, 220hp, upgrades
Hi, I am in need of advice from someone who is familiar with car upgrades. I would like to upgrade my Opel Insignia 2.0 turbo AWD. I am interested in performance upgrades that are worth investing in. Car is automatic and has 220hp and has not been chip tuned yet. If someone can suggest specific upgrades wtih specific parts, that would be great.
It's already turbocharged personally, I wouldn't add anything to it. Because you do minor things like chips and stuff it doesn't do all that much. Only raising the boost or beefing up the engine by building it with better pistons and cams and that cost a small fortune. Any upgrade you really feel cost a small fortune and had already as turbocharged and it's straining the engine enough as it is

Don't the Opel A-series Turbo (A20NHT) is great at blowing up by it self, no upgrades needed.
Opel tried to get more power out of it than it could actually make, tunning it is a BAD idea if you want it to last.

Want a faster Opel Insignia OPC? Then get a REAL one.
Opel OPC used to be more than a label, the real Insignia OPC, those come with 2.8T engines and over 320 horsepower.
That A28NER engine is more capable, has plenty of power, reasonable economy, and can last.
Don't get me wrong, with a GM product failure is not an option, it comes standard.
So don't expect much, but it's definitely better than trying to squeeze more power out of an Opel wagon so old with the A-series.
