Possible purge valve issues or stalling issues

Question, is it possible that the purge valve/ closed canister valve be defective and not through codes? This was replaced along with the canister a few months ago (because I was not able to pump gas) and the dealership says that it's fine because it doesn't show codes after now having an issue with the car hesitating. It actually started hesitating badly and stalled when coming to a stop not long after I left my house a couple of weeks ago.  I am not even sure they actually checked it because they say it would throw a code if there was something wrong. I don't know what to think. I have taken it to two other mechanics as well and no one knows what is going on. No codes. This seems to happen only after pumping gas but not right after.  The last two times it happened was the next time I use the car the same day, not when leaving the gas station. It seemed random at first but now I am pretty sure the hesitation is related to getting gas.  They said it could be bad gas, so I am going to test it again by going to a different station. This is a 2011 Kia Sorento with 127,000 miles.

I should also add that the fuel pressure was tested by Kia and Goodyear.  Neither found anything wrong.

This relates to a question I asked previously but I was wondering if the purge valve be faulty and not throw codes?  I am having issues with stalling and hesitating after getting gas.  I keep reading that this the likely culprit but the dealership says if it was the valve there would be a code.  Could it be a bad gas cap or other leak and is it possible they would not show codes?

Oh, I'm sorry, I thought my first question was a little loaded so I was trying to get to a specific point.
