I have a 2005 Chevrolet Colorado colorado with the 3.5 l in line 5 cylinder. And my question is how often should I change my spark plugs? I maintain the vehicle I changed the fluid and filters when it's recommended but the spark plugs I'm not sure about.

Well it has iridium plugs they should last well over 100,000 miles. I'm Platinum bugs can last up long too so when it gets that fire replace

scottykilmer could the plugs be the reason my engine bogs down while driving from a cold start until it's up to temperature? It does it with or without the ac running and in idle if the ac compressor kicks on it does the same thing. I have another mechanic who I trust that will be looking at it on Tuesday.

NGK says 40-50K miles on their iridium plugs. Denso says 62K miles on their long life iridium plugs. These are the plug manufacturers numbers.

Start with lol ad testing your battery and alternator. Also, pressure test the fuel line.

I just got a new battery from autozone about 2 months ago and a pressure test was done on the fuel line here not too long ago. Fuel filter has also been replaced.

So check the alternator

That was also checked at autozone when I got the new battery and the alternator tested fine. I'm guessing my question would be could a sensor be corroded or could I just need to replace the idle is place the Is idle air control sensor or oxygen sensor?

Before replace the parts, get some live data.
