My beater 2003 Saturn ion has a CVT that's going out, not gonna bother with it and going to junk it. Need advice on a replacement vehicle, I live in a snowy area, so I want AWD or 4WD. Here's my options, all used private party.

1. 2002 Subaru Impreza Wagon 2.5TS, Manual Transmission 140,000 miles, head gasket is good and has been maintained, low rust.

2. 2000 Chevy Silverado 1500 ext. Cab vortec V8, automatic transmission, 154,000 miles. No problems 4x4, low rust

3. 1999 Dodge Ram 1500 ext cab 5.2 V8 automatic 134,000 miles 4x4, passenger door on driver's side stuck shut.

All are 3200 - 3400 OBO. Opinions on what I should get? Thank you!

The Subaru is the best choice of the 3 if it checks out.

Impreza is the only one I'd look at.

The Silverado is going to need a new trans soon, and the Dodge....is a Dodge.
