found a 2015 Accord 2.4L with 55,000 miles. Transmission fluid changed at 50K. Got the price down to $13,300. Should I pull the trigger? 0 Accidents

Use KBB to determine the buying price. The car is reliable.
Coupe or sedan ? LX, Sport, EX, EX-L, EX-L V6 or Touring. What color (Yes, it really does matter). Fastest movers off the lot: Most popular colors: Red and Blue. Most popular model: EX-L 2.5L.
I'd stay away from the V6, lots of issues (no longer offered in the Accord). If it's a CVT, the fluid should have been changed every 30K with a very specific Honda-only fluid and a well-documented procedure. Changing at 50K tells me maintenance not that good, and if a CVT runs at even slightly low fluid level or contaminated fluid, major, major problems will surface very soon ! Also, what else did they put off ?
Dents, scratches, interior condition, tire and brake condition, service records, dealer service history, 1-owner, clean title (or title status), currently registered, modified or stock ?. Any of that available ?
Depending on your area, it sounds like an average price for an EX-L, too high for other trim levels, but get it checked-out first. I'm a little down on this one, I've seen and moved very nice ones with less miles for less bucks.
Hope this helps and good luck ...
What kinds of issues happen on a V6 Accord? I've got a 2016 EX-L with 46,000 miles on it. Should I be expecting something bad to happen? I changed the tranny fluid at 40,000 miles. Drain and fill like Scotty says to do.
@nateboy
I have a 2010 2ltr auto 150k miles no bother , tranny fluid every 50k, The one you mention has fluid done at 50k so thats good, pretty sure the 2.4 will have a torgue converter auto,these are great cars. If its CVT dont buy it ,but I doubt it is.
@nateboy
No issues...some models had problems with the VCM system but not all of them were affected. Just keep clean Honda ATF and you'll be fine.
@Muttley
The honda CVT last a while if it's not been abused. Hard accelerations from a dead stop kills CVTs, any transmissions in that case.
@nateboy
Hi all, I become interested in the discussion about CVT. One is saying don't buy and another saying it'll last a while. Considering that all new honda cars are only offering CVT, is CVT really not a good idea considering it's supposed to be more fuel efficient? Thank you for the clarification in advance.
Just remember pricing guides are highly inflated, beware corporate collusion.
