Hey! This issue has been driving me a little crazy. A week ago, my 1999 Subaru Legacy Outback had a small squeak from the front left wheel only while turning left. It would go away after a while of driving, so I decided to just add more power steering fluid (Dexron II which is what the manual recommended), which I found to be low. After refilling the power steering fluid, the squeaking became LOUDER. Once again, it's only while turning left, no matter the speed, no matter if I'm braking or accelerating. It doesn't sound like grinding metal or anything scary, but it is VERY loud, and it's one continuous, loud squeak from the front left wheel until I stop turning left. I took a quick look underneath, and I didn't notice anything crazy out of the ordinary. My only guess is that it could be some rubber bits that may be going out?
For reference, if it helps, the Legacy Outback is almost entirely stock. Thanks!
