Would anyone happen to know a reliable sedan/suv/truck model from brands like Toyota, Lexus, Mazda, Honda or even Acura that has a very good suspension(that’s not a V8 engine)? I’ve heard of the Avalon, Lexus ES, Venza and Lexus RX, but I’m not really certain. I’m a single individual no family and currently own a 2013 Camry. I wouldn’t mind something similar whether it be a used or an older hidden gem or newer vehicle. Although I'm not ready to buy my replacement. I’d just like to be pointed in the right direction so I can start investing. The pot holes & bumps near my mega city are starting to terrify me, haha.

have you been maintaining the suspension system? (shocks, bushings, etc.)
you'll want a car that doesn't have massive wheels (hard to find today) and a long wheelbase.

The closest thing possible to meet your needs, and if you're somewhat flexible on the make is an old Ford Crown Victoria full-size car. It was built on the Panther platform and the guts of which were made in the late 1970s. That was the last body-on-frame car made by Ford. The most recent ones are still 15 years old, though. Check any vehicle out with a good scan tool. The Crown Vic is a V8, but if you don't drive it like you stole it, it gets decent gas mileage.
If the roads are that bad you might want to consider a vehicle designed at least in part for off-road use. For big city driving I usually use my old 1999 Jeep Cherokee which takes potholes, cobblestones, dips & dives, and other road flaws in its stride. (You probably would not want anything that old though especially if not doing your own repairs and maintenance.)
