I have a 2000 Honda Accord V6 EX with 130k miles, that after driving for at least 30 minutes will stall upon sitting off for about 15 minutes, then trying to start again. Never happens when engine is cold. I paid my mechanics to work on it and he found that if he remove the fuel regulator vacuum hose it worked fine. Reattached hose and it failed again. His research lead him to Honda Service bulletins 00-024 & 01-002. My mechanic recommended I take it to dealer since my regulator had the "black dot" indicated by bulletin but primarily because fix involved PCM and he couldn't reprogram it. I gave copy of bulletins to dealer. Well Honda dealer said bulletins weren't the problem and after smoke test determined intake seals were bad. I paid $800 for that, plus $200 to my mechanic's diagnostic, and now it's still failing. I just dropped it off at dealer again and let them know their diagnosis was wrong. I don't know where to turn for help. Does this problem sound familiar?
Thank you, CB

Obviously, the dealership isn't acting in your best interest. I'd get an alternative diagnosis from a shop that GUARANTEES their fix.
