2000 Toyota Camry timing belt keeps cutting frequently after replacement. Timing belt adjuster was replaced as well in an effort to stop the problem but to no prevail. I was called to troubleshoot the cause of the problem and to fix it but the was nothing visible wrong like oil leak to the belt. The only thing I noticed was that the belt was very weak not too tensioned. Please what could be responsible for the problem (belt cutting frequently)?

There must be a large metal burr or cut in one of the driven pulleys, AC, PS, alternator, etc, Check them all for roughness and sharp edges. Always use your VIN when getting parts to make sure they are correct for your vehicle.
