There are people who use older cars then that as daily drivers. If you already own it give it a try. If you don't but can get it for a good price give it a try. Those were excellent cars.

If it has relatively lower miles and was taken care of, it could be a good car. I would have a mechanic check it out before buying and keep of with maintenance and it could be a very solid car. But also keep in mind it is an old car so expect some things to go wrong.

Sure. Depends on how far and how hard you need to drive it.  Maintenance should be easy.  Parts are cheap and plentiful. If you are planning a short/easy commute, should be fine.  But as much as everyone on this site worships toyota, a 20-year-old anything isn’t going to hold up to heavy use, stop-and-go, pothole driving.

(Also depends on how well it has been maintained and how many miles it already has)
