I saw a clean 2009 Toyota Avalon I am interested in getting but the owner states that the only issue is that the d2 sensor needs to be replaced. Main issue is that it enters gear 2 too fast.
I tried checking online what D2 sensor is and could not find anything meaningful.
Please advice

Start by scanning for codes & post them here.
No matter what, if you’re serious about this car, have it checked out thoroughly by a professional mechanic, before purchase!
