Hi scotty , i have a Toyota yaris 2015 with 177,000 km and with automatic transmission , i recently chang the oil with the filter by dropping the pan , and I chang it before but without the filter and I put (Type III) oil , and the dip stick say it must be (Type V) , so when i went to change it with the filter the mechanic says that there are some oil left in the gearbox , the Problem is that the previous oil is not the same with the new one , is there any Problem , thanks for your help 🙂 , ps : the previous oil is still in good shape.
Well if I were you I would pay a mechanic with a machine to flush it all out because you cannot go backwards in time you can put type 5 and type 3 cuz it's backwards compatible but never put type 3 in type 5
