Hey Scotty,
I have a 2013 chevy sonic lt sedan with 123,000 miles on it. I recently had the coolant overflow tank replaced due to cracks in the plastic (OEM replacement). Ever since then, the top engine coolant overflow hose keeps popping. I tried replacing the clamp on the neck of the hose but I can still see the hose coming off ever so slightly after each hood check. I also inspect excess pressure build-up in the hose (swollen) after driving the car for a while. Radiator fan assembly was replaced last year and I recently had gotten a radiator flush. I would appreciate any help on my issue. Thanks.
Sounds like that Reservoir Hose is clogged or has a partial restriction.

Or if the Reservoir Breather Tube is clogged.

Hey Jack 62,
Thanks for your input on the situation. I confirm the problem is with the number 15 on the diagram. I tried changing the hose clamp with a jubilee clip and it still was popping off after prolonged driving. Should I first change the pressure cap first and then direct my attention to a possible clogged hose? Thanks.
It's up to you. It's pretty easy (and free) just to pull the hoses off and blow through them to see if they're clogged.
If they aren't clogged, buy a new cap.
change your pressure cap, and put a good sturdy hose clamp on the hose.
