Looking for model suggestions for used car purchase

Hi Scotty,

I really enjoy your videos, very informative. I am hoping you can help me with some information.

We are looking for a used vehicle for my mother. She does not drive long distances, she also doesn't drive on interstate highways. She is also not tech savvy nor a night time driver.

We are trying to find something that doesn't have a dashboard and steering wheel that is overly complicated and filled with button and switches and pretty lights. She also doesn't need a navigation system. Also a vehicle that's not so old that there would be problems trying to find replacement parts when needed.(the reason we got rid of the previous car)

It doesn't matter the make or model but a smaller SUV size like the Toyota Rav 4 or the Nissan Murano size. Something in that size that's not too expensive(wife doesn't want to spend too much money now that I'm disabled) something that is very reliable with decent gas mileage not that she really drives that far...think the little old lady that drives her car to church on Sundays...haha

Do you have any suggestions that might be a good fit for her? As of asking you this question, I have not been able to find for example a Toyota Rav in my area and the Nissan Muranos I have found were waaay to complicated for her. Also the place where she lives has a small-ish parking lot which is another reason we are trying to find something that is a bit smaller/compact to make parking easier and safer for her. The previous car she was driving was my 2002 Chevrolet Trailblazer EXT LT, and she had to park it out on the far end of the parking lot as it was a bit big for her to maneuver,  but we were having issues getting some parts so we got rid of it.

Any suggestions you can share would be great. Thank you so much and have a great rest of the week.

Best regards

Well, you're not going to find a cheap RAV4 that's any good. You're probably better looking at Toyota Corollas. They're a nice size and they can run forever and there's millions of them out there
