Used pickup truck

Hello everyone!

I want to ask for your advice regarding used trucks. I’m looking for something semi-modern (2015 and newer) that can last and not be a money pit . I know that Toyota would be the best choice, but I'm curious about other “honorable mentions” trucks. What can you recommend?

Thank you so much !

Really, it all depends on what you want to haul. If you don't haul much, a Honda Ridgeline is a good choice. It's not a true body-on-frame vehicle, which true trucks are. It's a unibody that's styled like a truck. The Ridgeline has an independent front and rear suspension, whereas a truck's rear end is a soild axle and leaf springs for simplicity and durability. The Ridgeline is also front-wheel-drive or all-wheel-drive. Traditional trucks are either rear-wheel drive or a 4x4, and they're not designed for on-road use when dry.

Thank you ! Is there a year that need to be avoided? And what to look for when choosing one, also something with 150-200k miles worth to consider?

I don't think so. That's a lot of miles, though, make sure you have a trusted mechanic check it out before you buy.
