I am in the process of buying a 2019 Volvo S60 T6 w/ 18k miles. I know you always say smaller engines with turbo and superchargers don't have a lot of longevity. All I am looking for is another 8-10 years, 80-100k miles. What can I do to make it last at least that long? Is that realistic? Thanks
Change the oil religiously with synthetic oil.
Take good care of it change the oil every 3000-5000 miles, and tbh you never know how long they will last, cuz Volvos are better made than a lot of the other Euro brands.
Volvos are the better lot of Euro cars and they negotiate hard! 3 4 year old models go for 1/3-1/2 of the new MSRP with low miles and if you want to get a Volvo I would get one that has depreciated a couple years. That mileage range is realistic but no one knows because newer luxury cars are more complicated than ever.
