Scotty,
I have a 2013 Honda Accord Touring with 125,000 miles, a V6 engine, automatic transmission and push button start. Lately, all of the warning lights come on suddenly stay on then go out in a day or so. I took the car to AutoZone to test the battery and alternator 5 days ago and the battery was good but the alternator read as if it's failing. I am still able to drive the car, thought it would have stopped running by now. This has happened 2 or 3 times in the last 2 months. Also when trying to start the car, I sometimes will get a grinding noise and I have to push the button 2 or three time to reset and then the car starts. What the heck is going on and what needs to be done?
Get a new alternator.
Mention the starting issue, it may be related. I know this is a long shot, but your ignition switch may be malfunctioning.
I second the ignition switch, if not dirty battery connections and the alternator has been replaced. Some Honda owners on the forms have reported that dirty battery connection terminals have caused intermittent issues. (After I cleaned em on a 2012 accord, customer said the problem went away)
Good call.

Scotty,
Recently i asked a question about my dashboard indicators lighting up and a starting issue. I have a 2013 Honda Accord Touring with a V6 engine and automatic transmission. All of my warning lights light up from time to time, stay on for a day or two they go away. I went to one Auto Zone and they tested the battery and allegedly the alternator. They said they alternator was failing and the battery was good. That was nearly three weeks ago and the car should have stopped running by now. So it is not the alternator. I just left different Auto Zone and did the same test. The battery and charging system is fine. I also used a scan tool and it showed no problems. Yet, the dashboard light are still intermittently coming on with audible chimes initially then the chimes stop once I drive for about a quarter mile. One of the forum members said I should get a new alternator but after today's test the alternator is not the problem and I did the test with the dashboard light problem active. What needs to be done to solve this annoying problem? P.S. i won't mentioning the starting issue for now.
So the things you all mentioned have anything to do with the dash warning lights illuminating intermittently? I also have a push button start if that helps diagnosing this problem.
Scotty,
I just had my car, a 2013 Honda Accord Touring with a V6 engine and automatic transmission, 126K miles scanned as to why all the dashboard warning lights intermittently light up. According to Honda, the car's VSA module needs to be replaced because code 123-11 VSA solenoid valve malfunction has DTC showed up (I hope I have this right). Is this really the case? Can it be DYI? I was quoted $2000 in repairs for this. When this happens, I do not have stability control or ABS, Adaptive cruise control and Lane departure warning. The TPMS light comes on, but I have adequate pressure, no power steering but I have power steering, braking system problem but I have braking. An independent mechanic earlier found codes B2983, 85-01, U0416-68, U0416-F8, P2583-97 all as permanent DTC codes. Honda states they found four codes, cleared them, but one came back (123-11 VSA solenoid valve malfunction has DTC). I'm trying to decide between going to the independent mechanic who suggested I go to Honda for a computer update which I did and he didn't quote me a price for work, go to Honda for the repairs or trading in the car for another. Is there something I can do to fix it or leave it to a pro? I previously posted as "Weird dash light and starting issue” with follow up "Follow Up to Weird Dash Light and Starting issue”. I'd rather not buy another car but will if I absolutely must. Sorry to be so verbose, just trying to give as many pertinent details as I can.
I have the same 123-11 DTC. How much was the fee for the dealership to update the VSA software?
I'm looking into places that offer to refurbish the modulator itself. They run between $200 and $300 (plus shipping) Not sure if that's the fix for my vehicle or not. Would love it if it's just a software issue, but I don't think that's the case.
$171 to do the diagnostic and upgrade.

Just a heads up. Please don't post it twice or the moderators going to ban you
