| I have a 2010 Ford Escape XLT AWD with the V6, 119,000 miles which I've owned since I bought it in November of 2009. In the last year, I've had 2 or 3 instances where I was pulling out of a business, and when I went to tap on the brakes, the pedal went to the floor. One time, the issue lasted for about 2 miles until I got home, so I took it to a local shop here in Clarksville and they couldn't find anything wrong as far as leaks, or air in the system. So I'm wondering if maybe the master cylinder is going bad, or possibly the ABS module? Out of habit, I now ... | |||||

| I’m looking for a new car and came across an automatic 2016 ford Escape SE with a 1.6L engine and 68,000 miles. The price is $15,999 and from a dealership. My main concern is that I have heard about Ford Escapes having transmission issues, and I can’t figure out if this model is one that I should avoid or not, could you clear this up for me? Should I buy this car or avoid it? | |||||

| Hey Scotty! I hope you are doing great! I'm hoping you could help me figure out how to solve the vibrations issues I have with my car, it's a 2012 Ford Escape Limited, 2.5 engine bought about a year or so ago from COPART, it has well around 160,000 miles on it and so far it has been an amazing daily driver, except for the nasty vibration on idle and at low RPMs. I've already tried changing all the motor mounts but the vibration is still there, have you seen this issue before? Is there any special part that I need to order? If you need further information I'l ... | |||||

| Hey y'all, I have a 2007 automatic Ford Escape V8 with around 150,000 miles on it. Initially the car shut down after the dashboard blacked out, so after an evaluation I got the alternator changed. However, after about 2 months the same thing happened again. To make a long story short, after swapping out that alternator for a better one, changing the battery several times, changing out the PCM as suggested by the Ford manufacturer, and on top of that the starter, I am back at square one. Even my mechanic has no idea what's going on. | |||||

| ... and the engine/trandmissiom mounts, for the Ford Escape. But it does seem funny to me that mounts are getting leaked on from the transmission. Usually transmission leaks are lower and engine mounts are higher. I am not saying it can’t happen. Just skeptical. If you can have your daughter send pictures of the engine mounts or the leaks, we might be able to help decipher if it is legitimate. | |||||
