| Ford Fusion Jerking | 13Relevance | 3 years ago | flmrwb | Submit Your Question HERE | |
| I have a 2020 Ford fusion with a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine (not turbocharged). It has about 45,000 miles. It has developed a jerking feeling when I try to maintain speed. It is very noticeable at slow speeds, like trying to maintain between 30-40mph. When the jerk happens, the RPM gauge goes up a little and back down. It only happens while driving, never at a stop or while in park. Any ideas what is causing it? | |||||

| 2006 Ford Fusion SE 4cyl weird shifting under load | 13Relevance | 3 years ago | elorapaslay | Submit Your Question HERE | |
| So I got a 2006 Ford fusion, no misfires are popping up, but when I go up hill or speed up, it revs up too 3-5 thousand RPM then kick and shift back down and go back to normal and drive okay till I speed up and go up hill again. The transmission is dirty, but my auto shop told me not to change the filter and fluid cause I’d loose 4Q and not to do a flush which I already knew. Back of my mind I thought maybe ignition coil or something. I ain’t finding any metal in the transmission fluid but it is dirty. I just got the car in October and kinda finding out they ... | |||||

| greetings I have a 2016 2.5L ford fusion, I got it second hand 2 years old from ford. and I have jerking and bad acceleration issues, I visited the dealership many times, they inspected both engine and transmission, but they found nothing eventually after 2 more visits they suggested that replacing the transmission solenoid could help. it did nothing, then they changed the oxygen sensor, cleaned the fuel injectors, replace spark plugs, and clean the engine and many other procedures... nothing worked, only reprograming the transmission and clearing the Adapt ... | |||||

| 2010 fusion wont crank | 13Relevance | 4 years ago | Awhite88 | Submit Your Question HERE | |
| I had to change my starter in my 2010 ford fusion today. Once the new starter was put in my car started instantly. I allowed it to run for 30 minutes and then I drove it for 15 minutes to make sure it was ok. I get home and shut it off. I go out about 3 hours later to run to the store and now it won't start again. My lights and radio come on in the car it just won't crank. I had to put a battery charger on it to crank it. I go to advance to have them check my battery they tell me it's good. They had to jump me off to get my car started again. I get home ... | |||||
| 15 Ford Fusion Hard Shifting | 13Relevance | 4 years ago | HKFord | Submit Your Question HERE | |
| Hey Scotty, I bought a used 15 Ford fusion Titanium AWD. I love the car but it shifting to 2-3 is extremely violent, it shakes the whole car. Going back down as well from 3-2 and sometimes 2-1 causing a hard jerk affect when coming to a stop. Past that it’s butter smooth but residential and stop and go traffic can be brutal. Any ideas? I’ve only read forums with no one being able to really identify the problem or it’s fix. 90kmiles | |||||
