| Good evening Scotty, I have a 2013 Lincoln mkz 3.7 with 145,400 miles. This past Sunday night after work, I started up my car and noticed that it was running a little rough. I have a scan tool and so I pulled the codes and initially the only code that popped up was P0017-bank 1 sensor B. I was leaving work and had no other way to get home, so I started driving home and then I noticed the check engine light flashing. | It sux that it is illegal, but with that mkz im guessing it has a turbo on it you need back pressure for turbos get alot of lag if straight piped plus the sensors messing with your ecu telling your car that there is a problem which sometimes make it run 2 lean and blow your motor but like most said very illegal and honestly if its failing you are probably getting to much blow by already clogging it. I mean when i had my 93 talon awd turbo i punched it and made a dyson vortex inside of it with stainless mesh plate worked pretty well and relined the inside of ... | |||||

| I have a 2013 mkz, I had to change the converter on the firewall side at 82,000 miles. At 100,000 miles, if my memory serves me well code P0422 tripped, at least I think that was the code. I know we ended up changing the same converter again. Well, here we are again at 116,000 miles and code P0420 Bank 1 just tripped. I would like to know what side bank 1 is on and if it's the same one. What could be causing it to fail? Do you think I'll have to replace it again or could it be a sensor or something else that is causing this issue? | |||||

| This may sound nutty but the first spate of cold weather can do weird things to batteries that are marginal to begin with. Have your battery load tested and also your alternator output. The major auto parts stores will do this for free. | |||||

| hey Scotty, I'm in the market to buy another Infiniti Qx56. I've had the 2004 version and I loved hearing my husband yell out NOOO! When he realized my 04 had adoptive cruise control and his 2012 Lincoln mkz did not. I've also had the 2011 Infiniti Qx56 which was complete junk in my opinion and I was grateful I was paid out 2 grand more for what I paid when it was totaled.
