'16 Elantra GT Warranty Engine Replacement

Howdy! I have a 2016 Hyundai Elantra GT Hatchback 2.0 automatic with 84K miles. No CEL or other codes anymore...I just got the car back from the dealership after 4 months of waiting for the motor swap, babying it for the last couple days to make sure it gets broken in, not sure if that's needed or not with these. I am 2nd owner and pleasantly surprised that Hyundai covered the replacement and rental (altogether retailing $16K) because I thought the 2nd owner warranty was up at 60K miles, ?maybe because I kept good records of oil changes every 5k miles? I followed Scotty's advice, "oil is cheap, engines are not." The dealership told me the new motor has a limited warranty of 12 months or 12K miles. I know I will probably hit 12K miles in about 7 months, so...

I need help deciding if it would be better to trade it in/sell private party before that warranty ends, or live with it until either the new motor or transmission goes out. Feels like it idles strongly when stopped at a light, idling vibration goes away when in neutral. I usually always throw it in N when the stoplight may take a while. The trans fluid was changed at 60K miles, drained and filled. If I end up keeping it, I'll have it changed again at 90K, but really hoping to gather advice on the best move from here.

Appreciate any responses! Thanks!

+1 @mod_man

Get rid of it while everything’s working normally. Remember they’ve replaced your engine with one that’ll probably break again, like the previous one.

Get rid of it while the market is still high.

I would get rid of it the second you can get decent money for it.

Hyundai/Kia quality is extremely poor and you dodged one $16k bullet. Don't press your luck any further. That would be my advice on it.
