2005 Acura MDX transmission slipping 🤦‍♂️

I own a 2005 Acura MDX with 162K miles on it, my friend just recently replaced all the suspension components for me IE. front struts and springs, rear struts, all links, motor mounts, transmission mounts, etc.

When I picked up the car I noticed the transmission was slipping but was working perfectly fine before, I’m not blaming him nor do I think he did anything malicious but could he have forgotten to plug something back or kinked a line somewhere or is it just my bad luck to dump money in to repairs and have the transmission go on me with no warning?

When the car is cold it winds out the first gear and then slams in to second and sometimes gets stuck in second so I have to shut off the car and restart it and then it works fine, but once the fluid is warmed up enough it works fine the whole day even if I let it sit and it cools down again. Only if it sits overnight does the whole process start again. Thank you for your time and I love your videos.

Of course. He is human isn't he? Just mention it to him.

Your "friend" did something to your transmission. He might have changed or possibly flushed the transmission fluid for I know.
