Scotty, I have a 2012 Dodge Journey 2.4l 4 cylinder, at the beginning of the week on Monday my wife and I drove down to the post office, no issues starting before, as soon as we pulled into the parking lot we got 3 lights that all came on, two were the traction control lights and the third was a flashing lightning bolt. Shut it off went in and when we came out the car started but it was a little rough running and all the same lights were on, tried to drive it home it’s a 6 minute drive and the car wouldn’t accelerate or shift, like it was in a limp mode. Anyway, we pulled over and decided to get a tow (that’s another story) no tow trucks out in the boonies where we live we’re available for two whole days, that night I went back to the car and it would start (3 more times I did this) with some tools but couldn’t find something that would be causing it, I tried disconnecting the battery for a minute, when I reconnected it everything came on until I went to start it, as soon as I pushed the button I lost all power car went dark. Finally got a tow truck to bring it to the house on Wednesday, I have now tried jumping the car with a Pontiac G6 and a Dodge Ram 4500, the power comes back all lights and everything, but it won’t start, doesn’t even try to turn over. I believe there is two separate issue with the lights that all came on and now the no power happening, but could be related. I should tell you that a year ago last June I had to replace the alternator. What could be going on that I cannot even start the car while jumped? Thank you for your time Scotty!
