I have a 2.0 (non sky-active) manual transmission, base model sedan with 130,000 miles. I plan to sell it privately eventually, but want to add some "NEW" maintenance done to fetch a better price. What should I have done besides tires and brakes? Thanks!
There's not much you can do that will translate into a higher selling price. You're very unlikely to get back any additional money you put into it.
If you're looking to sell it, don't bother. The most important maintenance you can do is the scheduled maintenance as shown in your owners manual.
If I'm looking at a car and the maintenance has just all been done past the recommended mileage, I don't bother buying because that means the owner did not maintain it on time.
Similarly, new tires, brakes, etc. do not add value as those all come along with owning a vehicle.
Everything else as per your owner's manual.
