Should I buy a 2014 Toyota Camry with 98,923 and a clean Title for 6,800

Thats a good price. Generally they go for around $10000 and the starting value is around $8000 so thats either a case of someone not knowing the value of their car, or a scam.

I would still pass because at that mileage they generally start to develop transmission shudder. For more information on that, Technical Service Bulletins and Recalls (All Vehicles; GM, Toyota...) check out the bulletin for it by clicking on Toyota and then finding the 2012-2014 Toyota official shudder TSB.

For more info on common problems with the 2014 Toyota Camry, check out the Should I buy this Toyota or Honda? (Common Problems) page.

If you do decide to take a look at this vehicle, make sure to have a pre-purchase inspection done before buying it.

If you don't have much experience buying used cars, a forum moderator has compiled a Used Car Buying Guide, check it out.

Good luck!

Something’s off about this deal. Is it from a dealer/private seller? Is the car already checked out by a professional mechanic & passed with flying colours?

$6800 for a 7yr old Camry sounds too good to be true.

They generally don't go for a lot more than that $7000-$9000 on craigslist

Fair enough then..
