hybrid Toyota Crown opinions

A few days ago we bought a brand new red, all wheel drive, non-plug-in hybrid, 2023 Toyota Crown off of the showroom floor. We LOVE it. What are your thoughts on it? I think either they just started making them or just started selling them in the US because we had never seen one before. Is there enough data to see how good or bad they are?

The Crown was the first Toyota (initially "Toyopet") exported to the U.S., between 1958 and 1972. The earliest models were not suited to American driving conditions and were withdrawn temporarily in 1960 for improvements to be made. The later ones failed to find much of a market here and U.S. sales were discontinued after 1972 in favor of smaller models like the Corona and Corolla.

The Crown mark is sold overseas, and historically sold in the United States. Toyota revived the name for this vehicle.

Under the hood, it is basically a Camry Hybrid, but also like a Highlander.

I have no idea how to classify it. Is it a sedan? Crossover? SUV?

It kinda reminds me of what Honda tried to do with the Crosstour and the Acura ZDX. And it is reminiscent of the BMW X(even) series, like the X4 and X6.

While the Crown is new, the drive train has been around for around 5 years. So we should be getting some good data in on how this drivetrain is holding up.
