Hello,

I just got my first Corolla Altis, 2008 (34,000k/21,127.614 miles).

This was a single owner car driven by the owner and was serviced at the official service station. But since the past 4-5 years it was standing still. There was a lot of dust and rust around the alloys which i got fixed, quite some on the doors which has been fixed now and minor rusting at other places.

The car starts and runs like a rocket. AC is good, suspension is good, steering everything.

Recently the fuel pump motor died off randomly. we did trips of 100-150 miles frequently but nothing happened.

Got the fuel pump motor replaced but i had to tow the car which broke my heard. The mechanic said the pipes were dirty and clogged cause the car was not being used.

I have ordered some FTP fuel injector and petrol cleaner. anything else i should check, change or add to make sure the car is lubricated enough and i dont ever have such horrible failures?

Thank you.

Well if a car was sitting that long all kinds of crap can go on rubber parts will ride. Sometimes electrical wiring will start to corrode. You want to go through all the wiring and all the rubber parts to see if anything needs replaced

Thank you so much for getting back!
