Hey, Scotty! My 2011 GMC acadia has costing me an arm and leg for repairs this year, but for now i can't afford a new car. So im thinking of dumping it buying a used 2005 toyota sequoia SR5 automatic with 270k miles on it from a private seller(mostly highway says the owner), should i run away from it or buy it, if things check out?

I would pass. For me, that's too many miles.
If someone put that many miles why are they stopping the long run now? Are they finally having problems worthy of dumping? Or are they just bored on those long trips? Worth having it checked by a pro if you like it.

I’m new here but I agree with this question. I had an 83 Celica with ~200k miles, an 86 Maxima with >300k. Only got rid of them because of engine issues. My ‘08 Highlander is pushing 344k and I’d rather not wait until it dies to get my next vehicle.
I would pass too. Old car with high mileage.
Walk Away, No, Run ! Lots more out there, lower miles, better car, lower cost. Even dealers don't want them like that, can't move them !
