Can’t figure out protocol on 2007 Toyota Tundra

I have tried multiple scanners on my Toyota Tundra and can’t find one that will work. I’ve tried the Think OBD 100 and Think OBD 500 and neither will work. How do I find out the protocol on my Tundra? I have certain numbers, but can’t figure out what type of protocol it is. I have numbers 4, 5, 6, 7, 9, 12, 13, 14, and 16. Can someone be able to tell me what protocol my Tundra is?

is this a Tundra sold in N.America?

Do the scanners work on other cars? Take the car to an auto part store and see if they can connect their scan tools. If they couldn't, there should be some issues with the OBD port.

Yes it has worked on all my other Toyota vehicles. It has been at an auto store and they have connected a scanner to it (of course one of the higher priced ones), I just wanted to get one I can use myself.

The ThinkOBD500 should detect protocols automatically. Either something is wrong with your car or the scanner. My money is on the Thinkcar thing. In my opinion they make crap, but you can try calling their technical support.

Those numbers don't mean anything. All modern vehicles use CAN protocol. Before that, Toyota used ISO9141 (K-line)

Yeah, I’ve tried getting help from the company multiple times and it’s not helpful at all. It worked on all my other vehicles fine, but when I tried it on my Tundra, it wouldn’t even power on.

if it doesn't power on then that sounds like a physical issue on the Tundra connector. Make sure the fuse isn't blown (usually CIGAR), and the connector isn't damaged/corroded/dirty.

Okay thanks
