Hi Scotty,
I have a 2014 crew cab, automatic transmission, 2 wheel drive, Toyota Tacoma with 121,506 miles. I bought it when I leaved out in South Florida in Jan of 2016. So I've it for a little over 5 years and have always serviced on time and have never had any issues with it. The dealership is recommending I perform these 8 services which cost about $1500 with tax:
1. Fuel induction and throttle body service - $213.42
2. Fuel injection service - $181.30
3. Mass air flow sensor service - $103.95
4. Evaporator Core cleaning service - $124.34
5. Power Steering Fluid exchange service - $180.78
6. Replace Serpentine Drive Belt - $262.00
7. Rear Differential service - $193.87
8. While Alignment - $139.80
Of these 8 recommendations, which of these do you think are actually necessary based on age and mileage of the truck?
Scotty I trust you 1000X more than I would trust the dealership.
Thanks,
Dean Shillingford

I own a 2005 Tacoma with 220K since new. I've never had any of those services done except wheel alignments as necessary.
I would find an honest independent service person and never go to that dealer, ever again, they are thieves
None. The dealerships are trying to rip you off. Plus the dealerships aren't good at fixing cars.
With the possible exception of the alignment, this is a stealership rip off list. It's like when a doctor tells you that you need all these tests (that he's getting a kickback on) just to make sure you are all right. CA CHING!
Maybe the allignment other than that it sounds uneeded for the most part. Find yourself a good independent mechanic, you can find a list of good ones and how to find a good one in the FAQ page for finding mechanics.
Wheel alignment, everything else is a dealer rip-off. I got my pickup alignment done a few months ago and it was $99 + tax. That's here in NC, maybe $139.80 is the going rate in Bowie, MD.
