Have a question about routine maintenance

Hey Scotty, I took my car in for a oil change at 61,000 miles. I have a 2018 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport LE 2.0 cvt transmission. I was told I need to do routine maintenance at 60,000 miles. A Tune up, which I was told is new spark plugs, and a Fuel Induction service. Also I need new tires, a Transmission Flush, and new brake pads on the front and a Brake flush. The guy quoted me for a little over $1,800. Is all this a rip off? I was hoping most of this could be done myself. I've never worked on cars and only changed out a old battery. I've watched your videos and changing spark plugs seems easy enough. I'm afraid of messing up my car, but I'm confused if I need the Transmission Flush, Brake Flush, and a Fuel Induction service. In your videos you state Tune ups aren't needed on most Newer vehicles just new spark plugs and Filters. Any help will be great. Thank you for putting out amazing content for free.

Yes replace the cvt fluid. Brakes are easy to check and replace with Scotty’s videos. Skip the fuel induction and brake flush.

Spark plugs: probably not but check your owners manual.

Fuel induction service: is a total scam.

Transmission flush: Never do that. Especially considering the milage and being a cvt. In the best case scenario, you may do the drain and refill but it also depends on the condition of the fluid.

New brake pad: it is possible, but you can check it yourself too.

Brake flush: probably not, but still consult with your car user's manual.

Generally, I would not go back to the same shop for any repair.
