I'm stuck between getting a new rav 4 xle fron Toyota dealership and the Lexus rx 350. Depeneding on the monthly rate its going to be between 2013 and 2015. Now my question is does it make sense to get such a old car even though it has low mileage?

Clarification: Is the decision between a 2022 Toyota RAV4 versus 2013-2015 Lexus RX350?
Based on the provided information I would say in general rav4 because it will cost less than the Lexus when purchasing but also will have lower cost of repairs/maintenance. It would have been helpful if you had provided the asking price and mileage for each car, but a general suggestion I give in this current market is always see what the price for a brand new one is. This is because used cars are very expensive now and I've seen 2-3 year old cars costing more than a brand new one of that same car.
I don't think 2013 or 2015 is "that old".
Realistically, If the car was maintained well - it still could be in almost brand new conditions at that age.
Please comment more about the state that your RAV4 is in, cause I think that possibly repairing the RAV4 that you already own and already know all of it's issues - might be the safer bet.
I believe OP’s question is whether to get a 2022 Toyota RAV4 versus 2013-2015 Lexus RX350.
@DayWalker oh. My bad.
I read “xle” and though he was talking about an axle as he had other words also cut off…
In that case - RAV4 all the way!
Due to the crazy market, I think new cars are priced more reasonably than used cars. I have seen new cars sell at MSRP (which now seems like a good deal), while 3-5 year old cars sell for more than the price of a new car.
A 7-9 year old Lexus RX goes for 24K-30K in my area. A brand new Rav4 is about 30K, and more if you add options. For that price difference, I'd go with the Rav4.
You omitted the mileage of the vehicles you are considering. That info may have gotten cut off when you put your question into the title bar rather than the body of your post.
