Hi Scotty I watch your show every chance I get as you seem to be a guy who don’t beat around the bush when it comes to cars. I brought a Toyota Celica ST204R 1996 model it has the 5SFE engine in it seems to run well it has approximately 280,000ks on it. I was wondering js it a good buy for $800AU from a scrapyard an another $1000AU for repairs like brake pads , interior lights , some rust repair, blue slip n cpt slip is included in $1000AU costs so total of $1800AU for the car it cost me. I was wondering if this was a good buy also is their anything I should consider replacing ect an also what’s some good mods for the engine to get more Performance/power an sound. Hope to get a reply from you, An a big thanks from Jamie in NSW, Australia

Nope.  I do not know anything about the motor vehicle insurance laws in Australia but it would be a good idea to check with your insurance carrier to see if they would even write a policy on a salvaged title vehicle.
