I have a 2006 Lexus GS300 v6 with 240,000 miles on it. My father-in-law had knock-off ignition coils put on it which failed. I went ahead and replaced knock off ignition coils with OEM but the error code for ignition coil circuit b, d, f open is still showing up. Any thoughts?
It's every second cylinder (2,4,6) apparently, which means it's on one bank of the engine, only.
It could a number of things. Here's an interesting article with some possibilities:
If this is too much, find a real diagnostic mechanic to do the elimination work. They will have to test, test and test.
If someone just wants to throw parts at the problem, and won't guarantee a fix, walk away, fast!

There is a code for Cadillac converter efficiency below threshold. Bank 2. I didn't know this could cause misfires.
Some of these things you can check easily: Clean the MAF sensor, and perhaps test it, as well. You can check the electrical power/ground characteristics of the wire harness to the ECM.
Now, it might be that your cat is just slightly below the threshold. If so, use the FAQ section, find the search function for Scotty's video, and type in "clean catalytic converter." Scotty advocates both the use of Lacquer Thinner and Soap and Water (if the cat is off the car, on the latter option). I can't vouch for the effectiveness of either of these techniques.
The other issues, like the camshaft position sensor require, I think, a diagnostician such as typified "Ivan" from Pine Hollow Auto Diagnostics or Eric O from South Main Auto to run bi-directional tests and map live data.
Good luck.
That's good that you specified the removal of the cat for option 2. Lol. I might try the soap and water option. The cat is only 350$ but if I can do it for 5$ I'd be happier with it. Thank you
