[Solved] Lubricate strut bearings on 2013 Honda Pilot?

I'm changing the struts on my 2013 Honda Pilot 4WD (~125k mi). I'm not replacing with quick struts. I'm using Bilstein B6 struts with all new Honda components (spring, mount, bearing, boot, etc).

My question is, should I lubricate the bearings or install them dry? If you would recommend lubricating, what should I use--silicone?

Thanks in advance!

I think lube would attract more dirt.

It depends. Are they a pre-lubed sealed cartridge. Did it come with any instructions? You could always call Bilstein.

Bearing grease.

Silicone is used for high temps like brakes.

Sorry, to further clarify, the bearing is #18 in the diagram (attached) which the strut mount rides on. The only thing from Bilstein is the strut itself (#9), while all other parts are new from Honda.

The picture would not attach. But you can find the diagram in the link added. Please let me know if this info changes your opinion. Thanks!
