Is my Neighbors 2010 Toyota Tundra Pickup with 266,000 miles a good deal????

I am looking at buying this 2010 Toyota Tundra Pickup truck. My neighbor said he would give it to me for $12,500. It was very well taken care of, my neighbor purchased it new in 2010, it spent its whole life in my neighbor's garage, and my neighbor has gotten it regularly maintained. It has no surface rust. The only worry I have about the truck is it has 266,000 miles on it. I am right out of college and I need a reliable work truck I won't have to fix all of the time. I am looking at keeping it for 4-5 years without any major repairs.

I included some photos, can someone give me some advice if that is a good price and if the mileage is too high? https://photos.app.goo.gl/gakmLRVF43QoB6rG8

Do not worry about the mileage, those tricks can easily go to 500k miles if we'll taken care of. Have your mechanic check it out.

Hope that helps and good luck, You will see that there are couple of them with higher mileage than yours.  Just remember these are wholesale prices!

wholesale ... so add 30% for retail?

I did not give any answer, just provided current wholesale prices under current market conditions. If it is clean car, suv or truck, it is a seller's market and yes they are adding 30%. Is it a deal? That is completely different situation depending on the needs. Problem is that the supply issue is not going away anytime soon. Toyota, Ford and GM had cut their worldwide productions each by more than 30% because of chips, now there seems to be magnesium issue too, so the issue is not resolving anytime soon. If he can wait for some time, he might be able to get a better deal, if he cannot and he can make up the difference with his new job, be it. He has to make the decision and only he can take responsibility for his decision, because only he can see the Truck and decide if it is a deal or not.
