JB Weld manifold fix?

I've had an exhaust leak since buying the truck last year but couldn't trace it down until it got much worse recently.

Cylinders two and three have the gasket blown out & there's not much metal left on any of the nuts. This isn't a job I can do in a reasonable amount of time & shops are asking almost a grand if I supply the parts for that side alone, they may as well be charging a million.

This leads me to the title question.....would high temp JB Weld around the exhaust manifold be a temporary fix worth trying? If not that, any other similar bandaids I can throw at it?

Everything around the leak is wearing the typical white discoloration you get when unburned fuel is cooking off outside where it should be. I've done my best to relocate anything that can be damaged such as wiring but I'm still kinda nervous about a fire if I don't do something soon.

JB weld won't last

What kind of window would you give it? If it'll just crumble off in a few months I'm ok with that.

To give you an idea of how much I travel, since buying the truck in October I don't think I've put on 100 miles yet.

it's not even worth the effort is what I'm saying.

About 15 minutes.

@chucktobias - HA, maybe 10 minutes, max.

why not go to a salvage yard and get a replacement manifold.

I have a new one which came with my last truck(same 5.4), problem is the nuts/studs are almost gone.

With the non-stainless garbage used going into aluminum heads it's virtually a guarantee all will snap.

If I was able to drop in copper inserts then build the weld to a good nut & turn out the broken ones it would be doable but can't weld, etc at my apartment complex.
