Should I change my transmission fluid?

Just bought a 2008 honda crv 2WD automatic south america model. I live in the Dominican Republic.

Hey Scotty, I love this 2008 Honda CRV with 110,000 km on it, which equals 68,350 miles. It's my first SUV, and it has been well-maintained; I had a mechanic check it. The only thing it needs is a paint job, which I'll be getting in a few weeks. (I sold my 2014 Kia Rio because I wanted something higher off the ground, and I enjoy road trips to different cities.) It had only one owner, and I plan to keep it for a long time.

One thing I've already taken care of is changing the oil, and I'll also be changing all the filters. However, one thing that concerns me is the transmission fluid. I checked it (thankfully, this one has a dipstick), and while it looks old, it still appears red. I don't know how often they changed the fluid, and I assume I should use Honda's transmission fluid. I've learned from your videos that flushing it is not a good idea. So, in this case, since I'm unsure when it was last changed, should I drain and refill it? I've also noticed that sometimes, when I start it (rarely, but it does happen), there's a sound when I put it in reverse to back out of my garage. It's like a kick and makes a strong sound, but it shifts perfectly, and I haven't had any issues so far. I really love this car, and if there's anything I can do to prevent it from deteriorating, I would greatly appreciate your advice. And what other things should I do to keep it well-maintained?

Thank you in advance. Keep up the good work, I watch your videos every day.
