Scotty,

I have a 2007 Ford Escape XLT V6 4WD automatic with 144000 miles. It drives like a dream and run very well.  Recently the check engine light came on for a (DTC) P0183 “Fuel Temperature Sensor 'A' Circuit High.” I am confused on where exactly it is located.

I have a OEM wiring diagram book for 2007 Escape/ Mariner. It mentions that it is a combination fuel pressure /temp sensor.

Can you clarify this for me?

Thank,

Patrick

It's under the hood bolted onto the fuel rail. It's a rather large piece. Just go to any auto parts store. They can show you the piece, sell you one open the hood you can see right where it is and mash it up. It just bolts on and off. But you have to do it when the engine is ice cold or you might start a fire
