Hello sir- I own a cherry 1972 Monte Carlo Custom. Electrical situation. Drivers side brake light and drivers rear hazzard doesn't work. Drvrs side rear turn signal works.all other lights function properly. Could it be my turn signal switch? If so, do I have to buy a special tool for removal? Thanks for your insight 👍

Replace the bulb.

There is a special tool for getting to the innards of GM steering columns, a lock plate removal tool, but before going there check bulbs, sockets, and grounds.
